A lot of the photos that you will see on my site are the results of long drives, strenuous hikes, adventure filled days and sleepless nights in the tent. However, this photo is not one of them. I actually snapped this less than a mile from my house in Satsuma, Alabama on my favorite kind of day…an overcast one. I remember just hopping in the car and driving down to the creek to try and not waste the good light and I was able to take what is probably my favorite photo in my portfolio. I guess the moral of the story is never waste good light.
